Composer Stuart MacRae introduces a filmed performance of his quintet ‘Ursa Minor’, performed by the Hebrides Ensemble and astronomer Dr Anne-Marie Weijmans describes the constellation and tells the stories of some of its most remarkable stars.

Local Mosaics and Graffiti (7 Sep) draws inspiration from public art and ever-changing graffiti in the underpasses near his home in Leeds. Yshani is the pianist with Carismático, a Tango ensemble with a difference. They take their inspiration from the Tango Nuevo compositions of Argentinian Tango Composer Saúl Cosentino (a protege of Astor Piazzolla) with a virtuoso ensemble of accordion, saxophone & clarinet, piano, drums and bass.
