Ayanna Witter-Johnson is a multi-talented singer/songwriter, cellist, pianist and composer. She has a phenomenal mastery for seamlessly crossing the boundaries of classical, jazz, reggae, soul and R&B, to imprint her unique musical signature collaborating with artists including Anoushka Shankar, Nitin Sawhney, Andrea Bocelli and Jools Holland. As a composer, Ayanna has been commissioned by the London Symphony Orchestra, Güerzenich Orchester, Ligeti Quartet and Kronos Quartet.

A British born Jamaican, her music is a body of work that represents, celebrates and pays homage to her ancestral heritage, culture and identity.

Ayanna’s patrons will gain exclusive insight into her creative process as a composer (across film, tv, theatre and concerts), as well as her work as a live performer, songwriter, collaborator, dancer and actress.

Patrons are invited to join Ayanna on a journey to discover more about her African-Caribbean heritage through folk song, poetry and storytelling. Alongside this, patrons connecting with Ayanna will be able to learn about and share in the wellness practices she uses to stay balanced as an artist, such as meditations, recipes or gentle exercise routines (and can choose to receive a personalised birthday message!).

In becoming one of Ayanna’s patrons, you will be part of her creative community, supporting and inspiring her artistic growth, allowing her to delve even more fully into her artistic practice.
