Stick in the Wheel A Thousand Pokes, UK & Ireland Tour
2 October – 16 November

Stick in the Wheel continue their album tour throughout October with performances across the UK and Ireland including Bristol, Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Dublin. View the full tour schedule. 

Yshani Perinpanayagam Fanny, King’s Head Theatre, London
From Friday 10 October 

Following its premiere at The Watermill Theatre earlier this year, Fanny is a joyful and irreverent comedy telling the story of Fanny Mendelssohn. Yshani’s compositions features alongside her arrangements of music by Fanny and Felix Mendelssohn.

Jo Quail God is an Astronaut Embers Tour
Wednesday 8 –  Sunday 19 October

Jo guest performs with Irish instrumental post-rock band God Is An Astronaut on the second leg of their European tour. 

Amelia Clarkson The Rain Keeps Coming, Ulster Hall, Belfast
Friday 10 October 

The Ulster Orchestra performs the premiere of Amelia’s new work, The Rain Keeps Coming in Belfast.

Yshani Perinpanayagam Improvising Pianist, Various
Monday 9 and Friday 31 October – Sunday 2 November

Two opportunities to catch Yshani on keys in ‘comedy improv’ mode: the Jane Austen-themed Austentatious in London (6 October only)  and Paul Merton & Suki Webster’s Show in Birmingham, Hereford and Cheltenham (31 October – 2 November).

Sunday 19 October

The US premiere of Angela’s Nu Quintet of Momentations for wind quintet. 

Yshani Perinpanayagam The Multi-Story Orchestra, STUCK,  London
Thursday 23 – Friday 24 October

Yshani composes, in collaboration Multi-Story Young Creatives Gabrielle Chudi and Richard Baker, this bold new musical STUCK, which narrates the relationship between an ambitious young man and his barber uncle, whose shop – and way of life – are threatened by a looming local redevelopment project. Performances at Southbank Centre and Fairfield Halls.

Angela Elizabeth Slater My skin: A Selkies Tale, Portsoy Salmon Bothy, Aberdeenshire
Saturday 25 October 

Angela’s work My skin A Selkies Tale for soprano and cello, as part of Sound Festival 2025. Performed by Stephanie Lamprea and Jessica Kerr, the piece is an Illuminate 2024-25 Scotland commission. Read more about the piece on Illuminate’s website.

Helgi Rafn Ingvarsson Ragnarök: fate of the gods, Reyjkavík Opera Days
Saturday 25 October 

Helgi R. Ingvarsson’s seventh opera, Ragnarök: fate of the gods, will be premiered on Saturday October 25th, 2025 in Harpa’s Norðurljós hall during the Reykjavík Opera Days, in collaboration with the Chamber Opera (Kammeróperan).
