Yshani Perinpanayagam STUCK, Bold Tendancies, London
Thursday 3 – Friday 4 July
STUCK narrates the relationship between an ambitious young man and his barber uncle, whose shop – and way of life – are threatened by a looming local redevelopment project. Yshani composes, in collaboration Multi-Story Young Creatives Gabrielle Chudi and Richard Baker in this bold new musical.
Alice Beckwith ‘Tomorrow, at dawn’, Trinity College Chapel, Cambridge
Saturday 5 July
Performance of Alice’s Tomorrow, at dawn, commissioned for the Choir and Organ New Music Series 2025 at 3pm in the chapel. Alice’s piece is performed alongside 3 other commissions in the Series.
Robert Laidlow TECHNO-UTOPIA: AI and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Salford
Friday 11 July
The world premiere of Robert’s new work TECHNO-UTOPIA, a genre defining piece in which Robert experiments with a live-processed piano, synthesiser, and completely new live-processed AI instruments, performed and controlled by soloist Zubin Kanga.
Colin Riley ‘Ocean Songs’, National Maritime Museum, London
Friday 11 July
Colin and his band Blue Machine perform their new album Ocean Songs live at the National Maritime Museum. Taking their name from the award-winning book by scientist Helen Czersk, Blue Machine comprises Colin, Nic Pendlebury, Steve Pretty and Lottie P. aka Goat Girl.

Yshani Perinpanayagam A Night With Josephine, Pavilion Arts Centre, Buxton
Sunday 20 July
Yshani is Musical Director, Composer and Arranger for A Night with Josephine which tells the fascinating story, with text, film and movement, of the American-French dancer, singer and actress Josephine Baker. Performed by Cassiopeia Berkeley-Agyepong alongside Counterpoise Ensemble. Part of Buxton International Festival.
Tom Coult Monologues for the Curious, Royal Albert Hall, London / Live on BBC Radio 3
Monday 21 July
Tenor Allan Clayton and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra perform the world premiere of Tom’s Monologues for the Curious. The orchestra will also perform Mahler’s Seventh Symphony, with John Storgårds conducting. Part of BBC Proms 2025.

Angela Elizabeth Slater Zauberwald for orchestra, Germany
Tuesday 6 – Friday 9 August
Several performances, including the world premiere, of Angela’s Zauberwald for orchestra commissioned for the anniversary of the Young North German Philharmonic (die junge norddeutsche philharmonie) and the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival.
Supriya Nagarajan Surya – the Sun God, Coventry Charterhouse

Responding to Luke Jerram’s sun sculpture ‘Helios’ installation, Supriya presents a special new work alongside harpist Lucy Nolan.
Yshani Perinpanayagam Love in Many Forms, Bold Tendancies, London
Wednesday 7 – Thursday 8 August
Yshani leads Multi-Story Orchestra’s new orchestral and choral piece Love in Many Forms exploring the varied kinds of love that shape our lives. In true Multi-Story style, the performance will begin with musicians spread all around the space before coming together for the full orchestral performance.

Catch Supriya’s immersive music performance Lullaby-Sonic Cradle. Performed alongside sound artist Duncan Chapman and for family audiences and adults alike, the show has travelled around the world and is bespoke to every venue and festival that have commissioned a performance of it.
David John Roche New commission, Nantwen Summer Concert, Pembrokeshire
Friday 9 August
Premiere of a commission by Nantwen Ensemble following an award from the Dementia Trust. Working with cellist Daniel Davies and members of the Ensemble, David’s new piece captures spoken phrases collected from individuals with Dementia and/or their carers, friends or family.

Marcus leads 2 late-night sessions at the legendary Ronnie Scott’s, bringing his high-energy fusion of jazz, reggae and Afro-Caribbean rhythms.
Supriya Nagarajan Colourscape, Watford
Sunday 17 August
Supriya performs alongside Duncan Chapman, Lucy Nolan, Simon Limbrick and Neil Valentine inside Colourscape, a unique labyrinth of 70 interlinked chambers of intense colours. Visitors explore different pathways and discover musicians and dancers along the way.
Yshani Perinpanayagam Tyshawn Sorey: Cycles of My Being | Save the Boys, Ruhrtriennale Festival, Germany
Friday 29 – Saturday 30 August
Yshani is the pianist for the European premiere of Tyshawn Sorey‘s works Cycles of My Being and Save the Boys. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Music 2024, his songs tell of racism, violence and discrimination, but also of hope.

Commissioned by Choir & Organ magazine for the New Music Series 2025, Tomorrow, at dawn is a stunning new choral work by Alice Beckwith. The recording and score was released in February 2025 with the Spring issue of Choir & Organ.
