Performance Updates and Sound Extracts for October 2022

Here is a brief update of a few upcoming performances in Sheffield on October 26th along with sound extracts from a few of the pieces being performed and a sneaky-peek demo of the first 1.5 minutes of my new18-minute organ piece written for Thomas Mellan in Boston.

26th October 2022

1 pm. Mappin Hall – I talk about my work as a composer and timecode-supported polytemporal music in particular

2-3 pm. Mappin Hall – an open rehearsal of two new pieces composed for premiere in Dina later that evening.

5.45 pm. Mappin Hall – Ondrej Vesely’s concert of Slovak guitar music. Includes the premiere of ‘bricolage III’ https://performancevenues.group.shef.ac.uk/event/ondrej-vesely/

8 pm Dina. – a concert with Sarah Watts, Ondrej Vesely and student composers and performers.
