Stuart’s atmospheric, folk-influenced song cycle Earth Thy Cold is Keen written for and performed by Australian mezzo-soprano Lotte Betts-Dean. Part of the Lammermuir Festival 2025.

Yshani Perinpanayagam River Recital on the Arts Ark, London
Sunday 7 September
Against the backdrop of Tower Bridge, Yshani takes part in this special summer concert. Her piano performance will include works by Morfydd owen and an improvisation inspired by Julius Eastman. Part of the Totally Thames Festival.
Jo Quail ‘Notan’ Album Launch and UK Tour
Friday 12 September – Saturday 20 September
Jo’s releases her seventh solo album Notan on 12 September. Concert venues and dates include Manchester Deaf Institute (Friday 12th), Newcastle Cluny 2 (Saturday 13th), Glasgow Core Fest (Sunday 14th), Edinburgh Voodoo Rooms (Monday 15th), Nottingham Bodega (Tuesday 16th), Bristol Jam Jar (Wednesday 17th), Leicester The Big Difference (Thursday 18th), Southampton Joiners (Friday 19th) and London Omera (Saturday 20th). The first release on her own Adderstone Records, Notan is inspired by the Japanese concept of simplifying art.

Laura Bowler collaborates with lovemusic in a new show for Musica Festival 2025. Commissioned by lovemusic, The Sad Album for voice, chamber ensemble, electronics and video is an excavation of the darker, stranger, and more tender aspects of grief.
