Jo guest performs with Irish instrumental post-rock band God Is An Astronaut on their European tour. 

David John Roche UPROAR Ensemble, venues across Wales
Friday 7 – Sunday 23 March

David’s piece Harm Reduction takes inspiration from the heavy metal and rock scene in the Welsh Valleys as he was growing up. Commissioned and performed by contemporary chamber ensemble UPROAR as part of a vibrant programme of new classical music from Wales alongside work by well-known international composers, whose music is rarely performed in Wales.

Hard Rain and Hashtag ensembles join forces for a Northern Irish/Polish programme for International Women’s Day featuring Amelia’s piece The wind cries over the state of her house.

Experience Britten Sinfonia’s Surround Sound Playlist featuring David’s The Thread for brass band and orchestra alongside an eclectic mix of orchestral, choral, solo and chamber music. Commussioned and performed by Britten Sinfonia with Thundersley Brass Band in Chelmsford (19/03), Soham Comrades Brass Band in Ely (21/03) ,and Stamford Brass Band in Peterborough (22/03).

Alice Beckwith ‘Tomorrow, at dawn’ with The Choir of Trinity College, Cambridge and Steven Grahl

Commissioned by Choir & Organ magazine for the New Music Series 2025, Tomorrow, at dawn is a stunning new choral work by Alice Beckwith. The recording and score was released in February 2025 with the Spring issue of Choir & Organ and is available to download for free until 31 August 2025 from Gramophone magazine.
