Robert Laidlow Singularity Sounds – AI & the Internet in Musical Performance, Oxford

An ambitious musical programme at the intersection of advanced technology, post-Internet aesthetic, and virtuosic performance. The concert presents a pair of substantial experimental compositions developed by Robert Laidlow in creative collaboration with the performers David Zucchi (saxophone) and Stephanie Lamprea (soprano) over the last eighteen months.
Yshani Perinpanayagam Ruination, Royal Opera House, London

Yshani is Musical Director for Lost Dog and the Royal Ballet’s award-winning co-production Ruination, returning to the Linbury Theatre this festive season.

Emily Peasgood Listening Desk, venues across the UK
Listening Desk is an interactive sound sculpture that invites people to access and create soundscapes with sound archives. The Listening Desk democratises access to sound archives in a fun and playful way. Installed at 10 locations around the UK.
Colin Riley Cutty Sark soundscape, London
An immersive ambient set of soundtracks for each of the decks of the Cutty Sark (in all weathers) created by composer Colin Riley and violist Nic Pendlebury (Sonic Collaborations). The music uses an orchestra of electric violas alongside treated piano and samples mixed with sounds from the boat.
