Hello Patrons,

The last time I wrote, I’d been working on putting some poetry to music, and I reflected that maybe it felt a bit too stiff, too rigid.

This time, I thought I’d combine the update, the new poetry and the music into one place, and see if I could do it in a looser, more relaxed way.

I feel happier about this piece. It’s still rough around the edges, and there are mixing, mastering, and EQ issues to think about… but I like where it’s ended up so far.

The books I reference in the track are 4000 Weeks by Oliver Burkeman and The Creative Act by Rick Rubin. Both are great reads if you’re feeling in any way inhibited or stagnant when it comes to your creativity.
