Supriya Nagarajan
“I would call myself a curious composer and I hope you join me on this journey of curiosity”I’m a composer driven by curiosity, I look at the world around me and ask questions. I like to surround my audience with music. I’m a synesthete – I experience the music through all my senses. I take a concept and work with it in different ways. Past projects have included exploring the sound of tea, the emotion behind lullabies, and water, in its various forms.
“I love collaboration with musical contemporaries but also with ‘ideas people’, and that’s what I’m looking for with Music Patron”What does being Supriya's patron look like? Supriya's patrons are invited to join her for a virtual 'chai and chat' every few months to contribute their perspective on new work and ideas.
"I’m looking for people to hold my hand on the journey, give me ideas, tell me to think differently, be critical friends. I would be delighted if a set of music patrons supported me on this music journey and explored my curiosity with me."Supporting a composer on Music Patron gives you a first-hand perspective on the many elements within the creative process, and an understanding of an authentic journey of a composer.
