Welcoming Augusta Quiney as Music Patron’s New CEO

16 July 2025

We're delighted to announce that Augusta Quiney has joined Music Patron as Chief Executive Officer.

Augusta Quiney has joined Music Patron as Chief Executive Officer, bringing a wealth of experience in championing creators and building meaningful connections between artists and audiences.

Augusta’s career spans the music industry and cultural advocacy, from working with multi-Grammy Award-winning producer Trevor Horn to founding A-Bomb Music, a respected production company serving major global brands.

Most recently, as Global Head of Arts & Strategic Partnerships at Amnesty International, she created transformative campaigns including Give a Home, which mobilised 870 artists across 44 countries in solidarity with refugees.

Her appointment comes as Music Patron continues its strategic transition toward becoming a stand-alone charity, aiming to become fully independent from Sound and Music during 2026. This is part of strengthening our foundation as we work toward supporting over 100 composers and engaging thousands of patrons in the years ahead.

“Music Patron represents the opportunity to build a community where composers and audiences can share in the creative journey together,” Augusta says. Her vision aligns perfectly with our mission to create sustainable support for composers while fostering genuine connections between creators and music lovers.

As we enter this exciting new chapter, we remain committed to doing what we do best: connecting composers with patrons and ensuring 100% of donations reach the creators who need support most.
