Music Patron is all about connection.
We want you to get the most out of your Music Patron experience, so let’s look at the ways you can manage your profile, connect with your composer and explore their content, and interact with the wider Music Patron community.
1. Explore your Patron Dashboard
Head to the Patron Dashboard to...
- View your Donation History
- Access your composer's recent updates*
- Pause or cancel your subscription
- Update your payment method
- Edit your profile information
- Add a postal address (if you're happy to receive the occasional item in the post from us)
*Only applicable to patrons supporting an individual composer
2. Connect with your composer
Only applicable to patrons who support an individual composer
Likes and comments are a quick and simple way to let your composer know you’re enjoying their updates.
Messaging is the most direct way to communicate with your composer.
Whichever way you choose, we encourage you to reach out! Understanding the type of content their patrons respond to, or knowing what they want to hear more about is hugely motivating for composers as they plan what to share on Music Patron.
Likes and comments
If your composer has these enabled, you can hit the Like button or add a Comment underneath their update.
Comments are displayed publicly, and other patrons who support the same composer as you will be able to reply to them, allowing you to not only connect with your composer, but fellow music lovers too!
Messaging
If you've seen an update you've really connected with, have a question or just want to leave some encouragement for your composer, head to Messages on the Patron Dashboard. You'll only able be to message a composer if they have this feature enabled.
