York Late Music presents a series of concerts in York celebrating the rich variety of 20th and and 21st century music, including many world premieres and new commissions: “living composers performed live“.
On Saturday 6 June, Stuart O’Hara and Marianna Cortesi perform Alice’s Five Armitage Songs – commissioned by the 2024 &Piano Festival – settings of Poet Laureate Simon Armitage’s poems the event horizon, Close Season, The Catch, Give, and Mist.
