DESCRIPTION:Music@Malling and Yotes Court Vineyard collaborate on a special evening pairing award- winning wines with music in the historic setting of Went House\, West Malling. Six different wines will be introduced by Yotes Court and accompanied by specially commissioned pieces by outstanding young composer\, Alice Beckwith. Each piece will capture the essence of each wine and bring taste\, smell and colour into focus through music: a truly multi- sensory experience. \nThe new works will be performed by internationally renowned musician and artistic director\, Thomas Kemp: \n“I am delighted that Music@Malling are collaborating with Yotes Court Vineyard. For centuries wine and music have been entwined and much has been written about their common qualities: an ability to evoke memories\, feelings and sensations. It is well known that different types of music make us experience the same wine differently. To have music directly inspired by each wine will make for a unique experience. It will be a night to savour.” \nTicket price includes a glass of ‘Benie De Dieux’ 2020 on arrival followed by a tasting session with five wines from award-winning Yotes Court Vineyard.
