Supriya Nagarajan Sonic Threads, WOVEN Festival, Dewsbury
Monday 2 June
Together, Carnatic vocalist and composer Supriya and harpist Lucy Nolan form Sonic Threads. This performance, part of Woven Festival celebrating innovation in textiles across Kirklees, is a response to the Silk Road from East to West.

Yshani Perinpanayagam Austentatious, Bath and Leicester
6 & 7 June
Award-winning comedy show in which the cast improvises a new Jane Austen novel, inspired entirely by a title from the audience. Performed in period costume, see Yshani on keys providing the live musical accompaniment for the performances in Bath and Leicester.

Joanna Ward Musarc: Staring at the Sun, St Paul’s Bow Common, London
Saturday 21 June
An opportunity to experience Joanna’s work in a unique location – the Grade II* listed St Paul’s Bow Common, London’s Brutalist Church. The programme includes new music by Joanna for the choir, as well as a piece of video art and some graphic scores, performed in an installation-style format. Themed around Houdini, the performance is in collaboration with fellow Musarc member and composer Reuben Esterhuizen.

Alice Beckwith ‘Tomorrow, at dawn’ with The Choir of Trinity College, Cambridge and Steven Grahl
Commissioned by Choir & Organ magazine for the New Music Series 2025, Tomorrow, at dawn is a stunning new choral work by Alice Beckwith. The recording and score was released in February 2025 with the Spring issue of Choir & Organ and is available to download for free until 31 August 2025 from Gramophone magazine.
